I am Emmanuelle, a painter and jewelry designer.
In my work, I reveal and explore the beauty of everyday life. Art is essential for me, as it brings life and enriches how we observe reality.

Jewelry-making and painting have existed since the dawn of history. Both combine craftsmanship and fine art, requiring attention to detail, patience, and delicacy. My studio's creations are based on ancient arts and crafts traditions from Rome, Greece, and Egypt. Inspired by them, I am drawn to qualities of eternity, and to creating works that remain relevant regardless of time or place.

As a child, I was fascinated by the magic in paintings and how much emotion and beauty could be captured through them. I decided to become a painter to preserve the world of classical painting and allow others to experience these feelings. I explore interactions of changing light, aesthetics, and color in my oil paintings. Human figures, landscapes, bodies, and objects are revealed through the qualities of color and tonality. In each painting, movements of the creation process are embedded—expressions of brushstrokes and transition between the figurative and abstract within each subject, as I maintain spaces that invite an encounter with the texture of the exposed canvas fabric.

In jewelry making, the clean work directs a gaze toward the reflections of light gleaming from the material, adding a glow and color to the face of the person wearing it. The jewelry is made using classical craftsmanship and durable materials: solid gold, silver, and precious metals. The natural stones are quarried from rocks, some of which have been shaped by rivers over the years. The whole process is done in my studio—soldering, metal sculpting, sawing, and polishing. In some works I combine computer and machine work in a precise manner, enabling results that cannot be achieved by hand alone, always with an organic appearance. Thanks to all of these techniques, the jewelry can be preserved and passed down from mother to daughter through generations.
